Description
The European Conference of the project "Local authorities for Fair Trade" will be hold in Cordoba from the 18th to the 21st October.
This project brings together Fair Trade organisations as well as local authorities and organisations of local authorities. Partners of the project are: WFTO Europe , Vedegylet – Protect The Future (Hungaria), Fondo Andaluz de Municipios para la Solidaridad Internacional (Spain), FELCOS UMBRIA (Italy), Fondo Provincial Milanés para la Cooperación Internacional (Italy).
The 18th and 19th of October will be dedicated to the creation of synergies between local authorities and Fair Trade organisations. The sessions on 20th and 21st will focus on the activities in network developed by Fair Trade organisations, as well as the achievement of its main goals, amongst which the enhancement of the access to international markets for small producers from developping countries, and awareness raising.
